Thanks to everyone who assisted on the poke a character
issue. Arthur's suggestion of addressing the string as text
speeds up the process, resetting apple's delimiters helped
greatly in certain instances (depending on the number of
items I was searching for), and treating the string as list
also helped.
So, that brings me to the next question of the day:
Given a list of char created from a string, instead of
changing (poking) a specific character into another
character, how do I insert an additional list item in the
middle of the list readily (or do I have to copy the prior
& post parts of the list to a new list variable with the
addition of the item to be added)?
Thanks in Advance
