The extension for compiled scripts is .scpt . The extension for uncompiled
scripts as used in Applescript Studio "Packages' is .applescript, but you'll
never see that unless you dig deep into the hidden bundles of AS-S
applications. The extension for regular applets and droplets is of course
.app , as for all applications.
