still growing

  • Subject: still growing

I need to modify an old script that used afp to transfer files from a volume, modified the filenames, and then transfer them to another volume - to instead use ftp. Since I cant use the "file busy" flag anymore I'm looking for a routine to check if the remote file is still growing before I grab it. Anybody have some code to share - or any ideas on how to do this in another way?

/Jocke
