I haven't been on this list very long, but I can say that I just
saw several posts go by on the Carbon list which suggest that
there are still some outstanding bugs in functions which I think
URL Access uses:
2819624: 5M28:URLOpen() hangs on receiving Continue message from
web server
2819617: 5M28:URLOpen does not transmit required Content-Type header
2819671: 5M28:Provide way to specify HTTP protocol version
I'm not sure if they refer only to OS X though.
