Not all EPSs are Vector of course. Photoshop EPSs are still bitmap, which means
resolution considerations.

ImageInfo for David Lloyd can tell the difference between Vector and Bitmap
EPSs. A great product when it comes to getting information about graphic files.
The downloadable demo works well enough for you to suss out whether it is for
you. Probably the site licence is pretty reasonable to.
