Odd Stack Overflow...

  • Subject: Odd Stack Overflow...

I'm sure this subject has been beaten to death, and I _did_ make a
perfunctory search of the archives, but... if someone has the time to
explain/comment, I'd appreciate it.

I've run into a 'stack overflow' for the first time in my admittedly
brief scripting career.

It occurs when trying to open the script, rather than when running it.
The script wasn't critical - just slightly modified from a previous
working version. All the commands and syntax within had been used
successfully before in other scripts... even in combined form. The size
of the script is only about 18 K. I was able to duplicate the error
(overflow) by making identical changes to the original script. It
compiled, saved, then wouldn't reopen. Everything is vanilla AS. OS
8.6, AS 1.3.7.

I'd like to keep working on the same or similar scripts, but obviously
would like to avoid the problem if possible.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Much.

Peter Bunn
