Hmm. Just looking through and the answer appears to be no. In the dictionary (of QT6 pp) the track class has an 'alternate' property, but it's read only, and besides, that's only part of the story - it's also important to know what makes it alternate - language is only one possibility.

Best thing would be to file a feature request to Apple. They've been very responsive to my suggestions for the player dictionary, although you have to be patient to see them appear. I don't know whether the QT6 feature set is frozen (probably), but the sooner you suggest it the sooner we may see it.
