Sorry - I should have also spelled out that

path to application support folder from user domain

(with 'folder' included) also errors here. This time 'folder' is the offending word following the variable 'support'. Still no good.

Versions:

MacOS X 10.1.5
AppleScript version installed from latest Developer Tools (which I think is 1.8.2 GM).

I currently have no third party osaxen installed. Works the same whether or not Classic is running and also works with "from local domain".
