Application event dict error

  • Subject: Application event dict error

Hey all,

I have always been able to figure most of the applescript stuff myself, but
I admit this one is driving me crazy...

I am running home automation software (XTension) on an old Mac tucked away
in a corner... The program is very scriptable and I can control all aspects
from any mac in the house via applescript. The problem is: now that I have
made the switch to OS X on all of the work macs in the place, I can't get
applescript to send commands to other machines. Upon trying to check and
compile, I get "Can't get the application's event dictionary."

I have gone through everything I know, updated AppleScript on all computers,
checked all the settings... I hope I am not missing something really
obvious!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

Steve McIntosh
