Acrobat: Get characters?

  • Subject: Acrobat: Get characters?

Does anyone know of a way to get a range of characters from a PDF page in Acrobat?

There is a select text command, which I presume could be followed by using the menu selection to copy the text to the clipboard, but that seems rather awkward.

I would like to select the text of a cover page within a PDF file and then parse it in a different application.
