The best way to avoid most sorts of spam with OE Mac is to go to Tools/ Junk
Filter and change the setting to High, or one notch below. Then make a new
folder called Junk. Then go to Tools / Rules / Mail and make a rule with the
criterion "Is junk mail" to "Move message" to Junk folder. (Or Delete
message, if you're feeling risky -0 but you might catch a few non-spams
too.) From time to time, check your Junk folder. To quickly expunge
everything in the Junk folder, you can use the applescript
Delete Junk Folder
