There is at least one problem that I found with the original wind chill
formula: there is no factoring for humidity levels. The wind chill varies
greatly with the water content of the air, and so the originating formula
can't be complete (at least in my mind).
The formula provided was also erroneous in some other ways, as it generated
wind chills of -99 degrees for riding my motorcycle at 70mph in a 49 degree
weather, and that is not reality (or I wouldn't be able to type for loss of
fingers from frost byte :)
