We are going to setup Multiple Users on our OS 9 Macs. One thing we
would like to do is have each computer keep a log of who logs in and at
what time. I haven't had any luck finding an option to turn on a log in
the Multiple User control panel. Is there one? Failing that, would it be
possible to write an Applescript that would activate when users login
and create (and append to after it's been created) a file that will
contain the username and the time they logged in? Where would I look to
find that information? Or is there a shareware or freeware app that
would do the same thing. Buying AppleShare IP or OS X Server (the best
solutions) is out of the question.
I've searched the Apple k-base without luck. I'd appreciate it if
someone could help me.
Thanks,
Bert Knabe
