X Scripting Guidance for Terminal/Finder

  • Subject: X Scripting Guidance for Terminal/Finder

I'm a bit rusty writing scripts for MacOs classic and
I'm just getting into scripting X.

I want to do the following in a script:

- give terminal a mount command string

- give terminal a password string in
resonse to the mount command

- give the finder an instruction to use
it's GO TO FOLDER option

It this possible with the current state of X?

I've found NO documentation on scripting
the GO TO FOLDER and the info I've found
on the terminal application will only
work with a single string.

Thanks,
Flip
