Terminal Questions

Ok, I am new to applescipting, but I am very excited about the powers of
this language in OSX. So here is my question:

I have a simple terminal script:
Tell application "terminal"
launch
do script with command "telnet remote server name:
End tell

This works great, but now I have to log into the server. How can I do this
in my applescript? Then once I am logged in I need to run a shell script
that resided on this remote server. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
