Im sorry, I didn't intend to be snooty. I only referenced the 'earlier
thread' because I don't feel I should make such an assertion without
reference.
The mail.app developers are aware of the problem and have assured us
that it will be fixed. (actually fixed by a different team of
developers, but what do I care)
I don't know how to get around the issue of archived mail always
referencing 'mail' and 'date received'. I wonder how they handle those
problems on lists dedicated to mail clients and servers? I guess
"Mail.app" or other client names is the best we can do for now.

Keep in mind there was a recent update to Mail.app. I don't know what
problems it addressed.
