Scripting TimeCode Track in QTplayer

  • Subject: Scripting TimeCode Track in QTplayer

While I am not new to AS, I have not made it to the beginner's level. I am still in the cut paste and tweak level.

I'd like to be able to use applescript to:
- add a timecode track to a mov file.
- Set location of the text box this timecode track is in.
- Choose font and font size
- set the start time of timecode per users input (or better from part of Mov name)
- Choose color of font / Text box.
- toggel show and hide tracks.

The multiple Scripts apple recently offered include how to do much of this for a text track but not a Timecode track. ALso apple makes a dev example tool that makes and adds a timecode tracks but it does not let me chose font size and it is not applescriptable.

Thanks
Tom Witte
