I meant Classic as in TruBlueEnv (why is there an e on Blue but not on
True?)...the running of apps not suitable for Mac OS X while Mac OS X is
running. That doesn't mean Carbon (as JR seems to have read it), or
pre-carbon under a Mac OS 9 startup.

I think that sense of Classic will go away "soon". What is
"soon"...probably not by 2005; probably by 2010; certainly the moment--in
that sort of time frame--that supporting TruBlueEnv or successor prevents a
significant release of Mac OS X. Oh...and Mac OS X on Intel, were it to
come to pass.
