OS X Mail has problem with german special characters

Hallo,

now i found out why my scripts for Mail in OS X does not run.
When i asked the list sometime befor i named my mailbox in english 'backmail', but in german the name is 'Ruecklaeufer' i.e. there are two german spec characters in the name of the mailbox. And each time when my script starts Mail crashes.
Now i renamed my mailbox into 'backmail' and everything works fine.

I am working with OS X 10.1.3 (german) and AS 1.7. .
So this should be a bug of Apple. Is there any address from apple where i can send this information?
