Sorry for coming to this late - still catching up on a few things! :-P
Better late than never - this does exactly what i want, thanks.
That should, of course be in a Finder tell block (and you'll no doubt add
the odd error trap)!
I often manage to trap the even errors but the odd ones usually elude me ;)
