Missing file info

  • Subject: Missing file info

Could someone please remind me whether it was the file type "TEXT" or the
creator type "ttxt", or both, that was or were missing from files made by
'open for access file' in one or two versions of AppleScript, until it was
restored recently. I've spent some time studying AS Release notes and the
AppleScript Sourcebook, but I can't track this down. And was it in both OS
XD and 9 versions, or just one of them?

Many thanks to anyone who can direct me to the answer.
