Os X and task scheduling

  • Subject: Os X and task scheduling

The recent threads about schedulers with os X leaves me pondering: how
useful can these be when the computer is sleeping ? (not much, i guess, is
my answer).

So, is there any way to schedule a wake-up under os X ?

And if there isn't, would anyone dare an explanation of why that useful
function disappeared ?

Thanks,

Alain - trying to get his daily naps within acceptable limits ;-)
