It's the only "2001-vintage" library left that hasn't had a good scrubbing
since, so the code is a bit grotty and overwrought looking. It's not
officially a v1.0 either (I never finished all the optimisation stuff), so
the interface may be liable to change before a final release happens (this
is some way off though as I'm busy with other stuff, though if folk start
jumping up and down I could do it sooner). Documentation is also lacking,
though it's pretty intuitive anyway. But it does the job.
