it might be that I am hitting the less common cases, but I have a AS
library that scans a documents for all boxes, gets and saves in
internal objects most of the properties of some of these boxes, and
then build new documents out of them. Well, when Quark is the
frontmost application, or even visible, it can take ten times longer.
Perhaps it is because I am not using the " set tool mode to drag
mode" trick (thanks for that), but it might be that hiding the
application has more or less the same effect.
