Perhaps the problem here is that there really isn't--as was pointed out--a
path to me

There is a
path to
with the parameter
me

Rather than heavily special-casing
path to
so that "path to me" "works," it might be better to create
path to me
as a command, and make IT "work," leaving path to alone.

Someone, of course, has to define what "work" means, at least in the
context of a script which has never been saved (that probably should
produce an error).

And would it be better to use the name
my path
to make a clean break away from path to?
