After another look at the original post, I do apologise. Me too hasty. The
given script indicated the script-to-save as a string, but the author
didn't state this was specifically what he was after. It may be that
creating a script object directly and storing it would be all he needed,
rather than compiling from string.

Quite; but as a teaching example it obscures the principal code (the script
object definition and the store script).
