Thanks to all for the quick responses (especially URL for jon pugh's site --
worth a visit just for a good read)

I then realized that where to put them wasn't the main problem.

the osaxen I'd downloaded had unstuffed to "modules.php"
- why are they in this form? What program uses the .php extension

In other words, how do I convert these to osaxen (.osax files?) nothing on
my system recognizes .php extension (must I upgrade stuffit?, install dev
tools?
