Scripting Acrobat 4

Scripters,

I could use some help scripting Acrobat 4. When I script "print pages
document 1", I get an error that says "only print pages from visible
documents. Use the View Mode property to make this document visible." If I
add "set view mode of document 1 to just pages" before the print pages
command, my Mac freezes.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong, and how to correct it?
