Why not use Apple's own Synchronize Folders script? I believe it shipped
with OS 8.5 (if you still happen to have any 8.5 installer disks).
Also, in ScriptBuilders, on MacScripter.net there is a script called
Update Remote Folders, written by Victor Lee.

Also, there is a control panel that ships with all Macs, altho I think
it's only installed by default if you have a laptop. Not so if you have a
desktop or tower Mac. Synchronize Control Panel can be extracted out of
the MacOS installer tome with TomeViewer. It works pretty nice and you
already have it, just have to dig a bit. >:) TomeViewer can be had on
versiontracker.com
