Hello all-

Can anyone help with finding the containing text box of a character?

Example: I have a document with 3 linked text boxes with a story flowed into them. I search for a superscripted character in this story and now I need to know exactly which box the character resides in.

If I set the selection to the superscripted character and then show the current box Quark selects the first box in the chain, not the box that actually contains the superscripted character. As a result of this, the page would also be wrong if the boxes cross a spread.

any suggestions?

thanks

-john
