Have you managed to resolve this one yet, David?
This may not be related - but there's evidently been a bug in Script Editor
on Mac OS X for the past few releases. Try clicking once on the resize
handle at the bottom right corner of the blank dictionary window. If that
doesn't cause the contents to appear, then the problem must lie elsewhere -
but it may be worth a try before you pursue a bunch more technical fixes...
