Where's the cookie, monster?

  • Subject: Where's the cookie, monster?

Ah, back to rewriting SuperPrivacy for OS X so that it's machine and browser independent, and suddenly I realized that I have not been able to locate the actual cookie file(s) for Microsoft Internet Explorer (5.2.x) anywhere on the drive. I've even done a string search on all the files for some of the embedded text in the cookies (junk like 2AGhsdi45JWvd) to try to find them and still no luck. The closest thing I've found is the cookies.cfm file in the bundle (and removing that removes the cookies preferences pane from Explorer's preferences). It's getting frustrating after a few hours of searching...

So, my question today: does anyone know where Explorer 5.x for OS X actually stores it's cookies? I want to be able to toss my cookies upon demand <grins at the bad pun>

Thanks
