Or when we get a good heads up from an experienced hand (or two). Thanks
Paul and Andy. (But in this case, there aren't many other apps to which
this context applies. Finder replacements, I suppose you mean.)

Probably better, ITLR, to make us learn it the way that is most
transportable, I'd think. It just so happens, apparently, that my
'incorrect' way is fairly transportable (8.6 -> 10.2.2) so in the case of
the Finder that's covered.

I'm sorry to all concerned.
As one of the 'all' (or maybe the only 'all'), no apology needed (unless you
mean for the continued acerbic responses to my posts ;). I appreciated, once
again, the chance to learn a bit more about AS, so it's a good thing, Paul.

myself, but if it's supposed to be a Good Thing, I guess I can learn it too.
Language is all about flexibility in interpreting tokens and phrases. From
my end, I would never have thought -- in English -- "duplicate this from
here to there", while "copy this from here to there" seems so natural.
In one way, it's highly intelligent of AS (and the Finder) to know what I
meant for the Finder to do, so that does seem like a good thing. I haven't
found AS to be all that 'easy' or all that 'forgiving' in most other cases,
so I'll take this "give" and keep my nose to the grindstone. :)
So, now I know I'm not crazy AND that I should (from the purist camp),
change my script to use 'duplicate'. Which I will do.
Thanks again, Pieter, Paul and Andy. (Hey, maybe you should take it on the
road.)
