Emmanuel, I am running OS 9.1, which installs AS 1.5.5 by default (no, I
won't upgrade to 9.2x) and have recently installed AS 1.6 on Paul B's
recommendation (and that solved some problems I had right away).

Is there a benefit or loss for me to install 1.8.3?
(I couldn't find any evidence that it wasn't compatible with OS9.1)

Just curious. Thanks,

Gary
