There was a nice two-part series in TidBITs about a half year ago (before
Jaguar)...first part
http://db.tidbits.com/getbits.acgi?tbart=06774
second part
http://db.tidbits.com/getbits.acgi?tbart=06780

Author Matt Neuberg, title "Two Bytes of the Cherry: Unicode and Mac OS X"

There was some discussion in TidBITS-talk thereafter:
http://db.tidbits.com/getbits.acgi?tlkthrd=1633
and
http://db.tidbits.com/getbits.acgi?tlkthrd=1632
(the latter warns against leaving one's keyboard mapping set to an
"unexpected" mapping when the password-protected screensaver kicks in).

John D and other Unicode gurus...if you see blatant errors (assuming you
haven't already read the article), you should probably get in touch with
Matt.

I have downloaded the suggested font (which I suspect survived my Jaguar
upgrade install), and OmniWeb does a nice job on the test pages referenced.
I guess...
