Thank goodness for that!
Since my own tests (on various different systems) were repeatedly resulting
in a 30 second idle time, I couldn't replicate your findings at all. So I
decided to run the 1000 iteration script you posted - just in case something
else was happening. It's been running now for just over 4 hours and 30
minutes.
Er... d'you think I should quit it now? ;-)
