Is there anyone who can help me with scripting
Cumulus 5.5? I've been fighting the syntax for
categories for a couple of days now and I'm not
getting very far.
I have scripted the cataloging of images. What I
need to do is take all the new files assign
categories to them. I have figured out how to
create a new category and how to move it, but
not how to assign it to a record.
Three specific questions:
1) How can I create a category that already is a
subcategory instead of making a new root
category and them moving it?
2) How do I assign a list of categories to a set of
newly cataloged images? It will take place in the
script immediately after adding to the catalog. I
already have a list of record IDs if that's
necessary, but I'm hoping I can somehow use
the initial value approach.
3) Is there a better way? What's the best
approach to creating and adding categories
while cataloging?
I'm on digest, so please copy any responses to
me directly. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
