AppleScript Studio and package contents

  • Subject: AppleScript Studio and package contents

Howdy,

<expose ignorance>

If one explores the contents of a package and AppleScript scripts are present within, is it safe to assume that it's a Studio app, or are there other entities that might incorporate scripts (other than installers)?

"Assuming" that scripts indicate that it's a Studio app, it's nice to see that Apple is eating its own dog food. The recently released iSyncUninstall application appears to be a Studio app. :-)

On a related note, is it possible to make a package peekproof, so that scripts, images and other such contents aren't so likely to be poached?

</expose ignorance until next time> :P
