If you just need to overlay text on top of existing graphics (a
watermark or website name, for example), this can be accomplished with
GraphicConverter, which is available for OS 8.6 - OS X 10.2.1 and runs
about $35 last time I checked to register (shareware - try before you
buy). You can find the mnf's homepage in English at
http://www.lemkesoft.com/us_index.html
If you are consistantly using the same text and already have PhotoShop
6 AND only need to run it at your machine, skip the AppleScript step
and just record it as a Photoshop Macro, then use File->Batch->Action
to do it. Within PhotoShop you can create a droplet to permit you to do
that automatically by drag-n-dropping files on the droplet.
Best Wishes,
