Oooo! That's brilliant! This alone goes a long way towards making AS usable
for me. Environmental damage over in Perlland has irrevocably etched hashes
into my synaptic pathways[0]. Access to asociative arrays in AS -- combined
with the workaround John gave me -- solves a goodly chunk of my headaches.

Remind me to buy you a beer should we ever meet IRL! :-)
(That goes for you too John, BTW)



[0] - I wonder why I originally spelled that as "irre _vice_ able" and
"synap _thick_". Some kind of deep-seated inferiority complex? :-)
