Curtis,
I can't speak for other operating systems or versions of Stuffit, but
the OSX versions of Stuffit Deluxe 6.0.1 and Expander 6.0.1 do have
AppleScript dictionaries. I think Stuffit's components are Carbon
applications, so I'd expect the OS9 versions of these apps to offer
similar options where AppleScript is concerned. Deluxe's dictionary is
much more extensive than is Expander's, the latter only offering one
AppleScript command: "Expand". DropStuff does not appear to be
scriptable, at least under my OS/setup.
To find out whether or not apps are AppleScript-able, select the Open
Dictionary menu item from the File menu in Script Editor. Depending
on which Mac OS you're running, you should get a list of all
AppleScript-aware apps on your computer.
