Eudora Settings

I have to join on the side of the people who think these should be better documented.

I do have the list of settings, but I don't think that is enough.

Take the very useful <x-eudora-setting:11520=300>, for example. If you click on this it explains that "Number of seconds to allow dirty windows to be dirty". What's a 'dirty' window, well one that has been changed and not saved. So here's a very useful function that you are unlikely to figure out without someone telling you what it means.

Furthermore, where does it tell you what the scope of the setting is? Can you set a setting for a single personality? For a single email? Or are they all global settings?

It strikes me as a kind of snobbishness by the developers, implying that if you aren't smart enough to figure this out you're not worthy of using them. But, in actual fact, it's access to people with this arcane knowledge that is required, which implies a documentation failure.
