Never say never?

Thanks for all the input on my quark scripting question, it's running fine
now. But there's one small detail that I find annoying. When I saved the
script as an application, I unchecked the "Never Show Startup Screen" check
box but when I launch the app it shows a startup screen. Is this feature
broken, or is there some other trick? I'm using OS 9.2.2 with AS 1.8.3.

Thanks,

-Bill

PS I noticed some recent posts on this list about Canto Cumulus. Is anyone
here familiar with QuarkDMS? The reason I ask is that our company is using
QDMS and it is pretty cool, but it has the lamest, one-way ticket kind of
Applescript support. Cumulus seems to have a fair amount of AS support. I
was just wondering if anyone's done a shootout of the two products and has
an opinion about the pros and cons of both systems.
