I actually tested in Entourage X, not OE. It's just possible that Entourage
has an extra coercion in there that OE doesn't have. If so, then in this
format only you would need to put the display name part within its own
internal quotes to avoid problems with punctuation such as the period after
the display name:

{"\"Joe Blow\" <email@hidden>", "\"Mary K. Smith\"
<email@hidden>"}


You should _not_ do this using the {address:, display name: } record
format.
