Steve,

What is it that you're trying to accomplish in the end? When you say print quality, there is a difference between distiller's print and press options. Are the PDF's you're exporting distilled at a resolution specific to your RIPS? You can export in various formats using Acrobat and still retain the quality and Photoshop only makes them low rez if you choose to convert. Are you going to press with these or do you just need to place the PDF in a third party app?

Gimme more info.

FYI: If you want to chat Acrobat here's the e-mail address for the acrobat site: email@hidden

Hi all:

Sorry if this is off topic (though if there is a solution it will have to be automated with AS so maybe it's on topic.) Does anyone know of a way or application that would enable me to export the contents of a PDF file but have those contents be hi res? I am working with print quality PDFs but if I open them up in Photoshop the conversion process makes them low res. Any info, even a redirection to a PDF list would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve
