getting MACaddress

Hey guys,
Any of you know of any ways to get the MAC address via applescript,
through Network Setup Scripting or such? (this is for os 8/9 platform)
If you happen to have a link to a SuperCard external for it, that would
be even cooler. (www.webbtoys.com is down)
