Has anyone else seen this bug? Or is it just me. I can use the Open
Location command to tell the finder to mount a network share. And this
works just fine when the share is "afp://myShare"
But, as soon as I set myShare to "smb://myShare" and try to use Open
Location to mount it, I get a -10814 error. Is this a Jaguar bug? Even
though it was unreliable, I use to be able to to this with 10.1 to mount
Windows Shares. The unreliability forced us to go with DAVE, but I'm have
such good experiences with 10.2 (until now) that I'm hoping to do away with
DAVE. My script is VERY simple (this is just a test script)
set myShare to "smb://myServer/myShare"
tell application "Finder"
open location myShare
end tell
Help!
