I want to take a moment to thank people on this list. This List Serv has been an invaluable resource in learning AppleScript AND OS X since it appeared on the scene.

At first, I was wary of of the whole "UNIX" thing, but it has just opened up more doors of opportunity for me. AppleScript used to be my only tool, but with OSX that led to PHP, SOAP, PERL, MySQL....all able to work with AppleScript and the programs I already knew - InDesign,Photoshop, FileMaker...not only has this increased my interest and knowledge, but also my pocketbook.

This List Serv has been open and welcome to all levels of expertise and does a great job. My job requires checking numerous other forums and discussions, and this one is by far the most courteous, mature and helpful

Thanks - Ron Bishop
