That's the problem with labels used this way. It's okay for simple things,
but as you get more complex, they break down. As well, with labels, you have
to read the label if you are looking for a specific type of address...you
can't just say 'work' phone, default phone, home address. It's get the
address label, read the label, is it the right one, etc.
Yes, I know this takes no time really, but it's more tedious to code for.
It's also more tedious when you are dealing with getting data in and out of
address book to/from programs that treat work and home as more than just
labels for an address.
This isn't that hard to do, and the fact that it isn't done for phone or
addresses, when it *is* done for IM entries is rather odd...as of yet, the
kind of email address/phone number/meat address is still more important than
is this a Jabber/AIM/MSN/ICQ/Yahoo IM entry...yet those all have specific
terms, and email/address/phone number get "some label with content blah".
