Turning ASIP file services off and on

  • Subject: Turning ASIP file services off and on

Hello,

I am attempting to learn AppleScript, but I don't think I have time to wait
to learn this one the hard way...

Does anyone know if AppleShare IP (6.3.3) file services can be disabled and
enabled using an AppleScript? If so, could you please throw the code my
way?

I need to be able to disable file services each night before Retrospect
performs a backup. Failure to do so results in about 30% of my files
becoming flagged as "in use."

Thank you very much,

-Dave Huber
